LAURA BELLE WELCH
Died This Friday Morning of Plural [sic] Pneumonia. 
 
This morning at [illegible] o'clock Miss Laura Belle Welch, a domestic in the 
home of Mr. and Mrs. R. B. Freeman died of plural pneumonia.  The young lady 
had only been ill five days with this disease when her sufferings ended in 
death this morning.  She was considered an excellent young lady, kind and with 
a happy disposition, and well thought of by all who knew her.  She was a member 
of the Catholic church.  Miss Welch was born at Vail, September 21, 1889, and 
was aged 19 years, 6 months and 19 days.  She is survived by her father, John 
Welch, of Curwensville, and one sister, Miss Maude Welch, of Tyrone and one 
brother, Lester Welch, of Stormstown.  The funeral will occur on Sunday morning 
at 10:30 o'clock.  Interment in Friends cemetery near Stormstown.
