Mrs. Amanda Stewart Welsh.

  Mrs. Amanda Stewart Welsh died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. 
Sarah Singlar, at Vail, on Friday evening at 11.30 o'clock of 
paralysis.  She was aged 87 years.  She leaves to mourn her death the 
following children: Mrs. Sarah Singlar and Robert, of Vail; William, of 
Sunbury; John and Anna, of Curwensville; Martin, of Hollidaysburg; and 
Mrs. Margaret Beck, of Philipsburg.
  The funeral occurred on Monday afternoon at one o'clock.  Services 
held at the Singlar home at Vail and interment at Bald Eagle.
