MRS. M. C. WELSH

  Mrs. Mabel Christine Welsh, wife of J. Coleman Welsh of West 
Fifteenth street, died at the home yesterday morning at 4 o'clock from 
influenza.  She was a daughter of Jacob and the late Mrs. Annie Harmon 
Christine and was born here June 17, 1890 and was united in marriage 
with Mr. Welsh in 1907.  The husband survives with 3 children, Anna, 
Ida May and Coleman, Jr.  She also leaves her father and one brother, 
George and a sister, Mrs. Leona Shirk, both of this place.  She was a 
member of the First Presbyterian church and of Excelsior lodge No. 219, 
auxiliary to Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen.  Private services will 
be held from the late home this afternoon.  Interment in Eastlawn 
cemetery.
