Boyd A. Wertz, a resident of Allegheny township, just west of Duncansville, 
died yesterday morning in a local hospital. He had been in failing health for 
several years. He was a son of Jacob and Mary (Mountain) Wertz and was born 
June 16, 1878. His wife preceded him in death. Surviving is one son, Glen Wertz 
of Allegheny township, and these sisters and brother: Mrs. Maud Keller and Mrs. 
Bertha Miller, both of Duncansville, Mrs. Eva Merritts of Revloc, Mrs. Laura 
Stahl of Altoona and Maxwell W. Wertz of Eldorado. Friends will be received at 
the home of his son west of Duncansville.

WERTZ - Funeral services for Boyd Alvin Wertz will be conducted Monday afternoon 
at 2:30 o'clock at the home of his son, Glen Wertz, west of Duncansville, in 
charge of Rev. G.B. Harman. Interment in Geeseytown cemetery. Friends will be 
received at the Glen Wertz home after 7 o'clock this evening.
