MRS. IDA WERTZ

Of 2910 Seventh avenue, widow of Arthur G. Wertz, died at her home at 7.20 
o'clock last evening.  She was born in Altoona on Nov. 25, 1870, a daughter 
of George and Anna (Corl) Bowers.  Surviving are six sons and daughters, 
George Wertz, at home, Mrs. Naomi Koenig of the city, David of Indiana, Pa., 
Ellwood and Clifton of the city and Miss Winifred, at home; four 
grandchildren, four sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Elizabeth Cassidy, Mrs. 
Nan Hoffman, Mrs. Pearl College, Scott and William Bowers, all of the city, 
and Mrs. Bessie Griffith of Clearfield.  Mrs. Wertz was a member of St. 
Paul's Lutheran church.  Friends will be received at the Laughlin funeral 
home after 6 o'clock this evening.

WERTZ - Funeral services for Mrs. Ida (Bowers) Wertz of 2910 Seventh avenue 
will be held at 2.30 o'clock Monday afternoon at the Laughlin funeral home by 
Rev. John L. Barnes of St. Paul's Lutheran church.  Interment in Geeseytown 
cemetery.  Friends will be received at the Laughlin funeral home after 6 
o'clock this evening.
