 Mrs. Mary Wertz, wife of Jacob Wertz, died at 9 o'clock yesterday morning, at 
her home in the Loop, in Frankstown township, aged 63 years, 5 months and 21 
days. The deceased was a highly esteemed lady and had resided in Frankstown 
township all her life. She is survived by her husband and these children: Mrs. 
Peter Stoner and Mrs. William Hawksworth, of Altoona; C. B. Wertz, of Canan 
Station; Mrs. Samuel Heller, Mrs. Valentine Hawfer and Y. W., of Duncansville; 
B. M., of Pittsburg; Mrs. Samuel Miller, of Scotch Valley; Boyd, Maxwell, Eva 
and Violet, at home. The funeral services will be held at the house on Thursday 
at 2 p.m. Interment will be made at the Lutheran cemetery at Geeseytown.


Additional Comments:
There are several errors regarding children's names. Mrs. Samuel Heller should 
be Keller. Mrs. Valentine Hawfer should be Laufer. Y. W. should be J. W.  Eva 
and Violet are the same person. B. M. should be D. M.  Son John was omitted from
the obituary.
