Westfall, of 1820 Eleventh Avenue, Succumbs to Heart Disease Miss Anna Elizabeth Westfall, of 1820 Eleventh avenue, and a sister of William C. Westfall, the well known business man, died suddenly at 9.15 o'clock last night at the office of Dr. A. S. Kech, Twelfth avenue and Sixteenth street, shortly after being stricken on the street with heart trouble. Miss Westfall had returned from a call at the home of James Dublin, 1415 Eighth avenue, and met her sister, Mrs. Elsie Peters, downtown at 8.30 o'clock. They walked to the Antonelli confectionery shop on Eleventh avenue, where Miss Westfall complained about not feeling well. Her sister went to a telephone and arranged with the Sixteenth street physician for them to call at his office within a half hour. Shortly before 9 o'clock, the two women arrived at the doctor's office. Miss Westfall grew much worse during the walk up the avenue and in the office, she threatened to collapse. She was made as comfortable as possible on a lounge, but steadily became weaker and medical aid could do nothing for her. She was conscious until the last few minutes, and died at 9.15. Her death was due to acute dilation of the heart. She had been in ill health for several years. Miss Westfall made her home with her brother at the above address. She was preparing to leave for New York city on Thursday morning to visit a sister. Miss Westfall was the daughter of James D. and Susan S. Westfall, both deceased, and was born in Pittsburg. She came to this city when quite young and resided here about thirty-five years. She attended the Second Presbyterian church, was well known and greatly esteemed. Three brothers and three sisters survive. They are: William C. Westfall, Mrs. Elsie Peters, James V. and Albert W. Westfall, all of this city; Mrs. Margaret White, of Akron, O., and Mrs. H. L. McMinn, of Jersey City. Funeral directors Lafferty & Tobias removed the body to the late home, where private funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Thursday morning, followed by private burial at Fairview cemetery.
