MRS. CLARISSA M. WESTOVER

Of 2455 Poplar St., Denver, Colo., died Sunday after an extended 
illness. She was born April 2, 1887, in Lilly, a daughter of Joseph and 
Elizabeth (Baird) Stiffler, and married Jesse E. Westover, who died in 
September 1944. Surviving are six children, Miss Dorothy M. and Mrs. 
Catherine Young of Denver, Mrs. Louise Schwarz of Kirkwood, Mo., Mrs. 
Marjorie Grey of Langhorne and Mrs. Elaine Reynolds of Bellville, N.J., 
Richard L. of Bay City, Mich.; 13 grandchildren and eight great-
grandchildren. Mrs. Westover was a former member of the Grace Methodist 
Church of Altoona and belonged to the Centennial Chapter, OES, in 
Colorado Springs. Friends will be received in the Axe Funeral Home from 
7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.
