John Weyandt, a well known resident of Greenfield township, died at his home three miles west of Claysburg, on Saturday, of pneumonia, following an attack of influenza from which he suffered but a short time, being engaged at his usual work on Thursday. Mr. Weyandt was best known in his own community as a musician, and while he never followed it for a livelihood, he spent much of his time on musical instruments and had one of the finest collections in his home to found anywhere, and he could play them all. He was a farmer and spent much of his time as a teamster, hauling paper wood to Roaring Spring and ties and mine props to the railroad siding at Claysburg. He is survived by his wife and a number of sons and daughters.
