He was a son of George and Olive Weyant, both now deceased, and was born at Catfish on Feb. 26, 1893. He was united in marriage on Dec. 23, 1916, with Miss Martha Black, who survives, with these children: Marie, George, Bruce, Chester, Ray, Lloyd and Francis, all at home; one brother, Lloyd Weyant of Amelia Courthouse, Va., and one sister, Mrs. Pearl Crist of York. He was a member of the Claysburg Lutheran church and had been a resident of Sproul for twenty-four years, being employed at the plant of the General Refractories company. Friends are being received at the home after this evening.
