MRS. AMELIA C. WHITE.

  Mrs. Amelia C. White, died at the residence of her son-in-law, M. E. 
Diethrich, 303 Third avenue, on Saturday evening, aged ninety-one 
years.  She was coming down stairs when she fell and before the 
physician, who had been summoned, arrived she was dead.  Heart failure, 
produced by the sudden shock was probably the cause of her death.  Her 
husband is dead and she leaves five children - Jacob White and Mrs. 
Catharine Diethrich, of Altoona, and Andrew, Christian and Susan White, 
of Cambria county.  The funeral will take place to-morrow morning, 
leaving her late residence at half past 8 o'clock and proceeding to St. 
Mary's German Catholic church where services will be held at 9 o'clock.  
Interment in St. Mary's cemetery.
