At 1 o'clock yesterday afternoon Mrs. Barbara White, wife of D. F. White, died at her home, 1502 Ninth street, of a complication of diseases. She had been ailing for a year and bore her sufferings with Christian fortitude. She was the daughter of Jacob and Elizabeth Stoler, and was born in Liberty township, Bedford county, near Saxton, July 4, 1845. She was married January 8, 1867, and came to this city with her husband eight years ago. She was a devout Christian and a member of the Reformed church. She was a loving wife and mother and was much beloved by a large circle of friends. Besides her husband she is survived by one son, Charles F., of this city, and three daughters, C. V., Margaret A. and Mary A., all at home. The remains will be taken to Saxton on seashore express this morning. Services will be held in St. Luke's Reformed church at that place Sunday [?] morning at 10.30 o'clock. Interment at the cemetery connected with the church. Morning Tribune, Saturday, November 11, 1899
