Mrs. Sarah D. White

Dies in Philadelphia on Sunday last after a brief illness with 
pneumonia.  Deceased was the mother of Commissioner Samuel D. White, of 
Downingtown; Jacob White, Altoona; Mrs. Mary E. Beckley and Mrs. Sadie 
Dothard, Philadelphia, and Luther R. White, of Philadelphia.  Elizabeth 
Miller, of West Chester, is a sister.  The death of Mrs. White, which 
came rather peacefully, occurred on her birthday - the day on which she 
was 81 years of age.  She was a lady highly esteemed and widely known.
