Samuel Whren,

Who conducted the Kellerman hotel in Gaysport for many years, died in
that place at 10 o'clock last night.  The deceased was born in
Lancaster county on June 24, 1817.  He is survived by his wife,
Melinda, and five daughters, viz: Mrs. Hugh Burford of Pittsburg; Mrs.
William Bollinger of Altoona; Mrs. James Foster of Pittsburg, and
Misses Margaret and Jennie, at home.  His two sisters, Mrs. Joseph
Strattan and Mrs. Isaac Clover, reside at Strattanville, Clarion
county, Pa., and a brother, George Whren, in Kingsville, O.
