All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ ________________________________________________ EZRA MAX WIEDEMANN Of 3703 Burgoon road, employed as a clerk at the eastbound repair yard of the Pennsylvania railroad, died at 12.18 o'clock this morning at the Altoona hospital where he was admitted on Wednesday after having been ill of a heart ailment for the past three weeks. He was born in Allegheny on Feb. 13, 1891, a son of Max and Annie (Garden) Wiedemann, but had resided in Altoona from childhood. On Oct. 6, 1909, he married Miss Edna E. McFarland. Surviving are his wife, one daughter and one son, Mrs. Gerald L. Stover of Philadelphia and Richard M., at home; one grandchild, Nellie Stover; two brothers and one sister, Mrs. Nellie G. Bloyer of Denbo, Pa., Robert E. of Washington, D.C., and Lou of Sunbury. Mr. Wiedemann was a member of the Calvary Baptist church and taught a boys' class in the Sunday school. Friends will be received at the Mauk & Yates funeral home, Juniata, after noon Sunday. WIEDEMANN - Funeral services for Ezra Max Wiedemann, of 3703 Burgoon road, will be held tomorrow afternoon at 3.30 o'clock in the Calvary Baptist church in charge of the Rev. Elmer Horner, assisted by the Rev. Stover and the Rev. Endress. Interment in Rose Hill cemetery. Friends are being received at the Mauk and Yates funeral home, Juniata. Altoona Mirror, August 8, 1942
