Williams, wife of J. B. Williams, died at her home on Spring street, Monday afternoon, of consumption, aged 36 years, 9 months and 22 days. About one year ago the deceased had a severe attack of pneumonia from the effects of which she never fully recovered and during the past summer she suffered from pulmonary troubles, having had several hemorrhages during the summer and fall. While closely confined to the house for a long time she was still able to walk across the room or from one room to another a week before her death. By this sad occurrence a bereaved husband and three children, two boys and one girl are left to lament their loss. The home circle has lost its centre of attraction and the dearest treasure of the household. The only consolation that can bring balm to the broken hears is that borne on the golden wings of hope that it is well with her. Then follows that faith which pierces the dark clouds of anguish and doubt, magnifying hope into an assurance and conceding the victory of a blessed immortality over the tribulations of this life and the final passage through the vale of death. Mrs. Williams was a consistent Christian - a member of the Presbyterian church - during her life and died the death of the righteous. It is well with her. The funeral services were conducted by Dr. S. M. Moore, Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock, and the last solemn rites paid the dead, after which the interment took place in the cemetery.
