WILLIAMS Died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Bertha Morrison, 1401 Ninth street, Altoona, at 3:50 o'clock this morning of a complication of diseases. He was born at New Millport, Clearfield county, on December 7, 1850, a son of John F. and Eliza (Butler) Williams. He came to Altoona in 1931 to make his home with a daughter. His wife, Leah, died in 1931. Surviving are seven children as follows: I. B. Williams of Johnstown, George S. Williams of Punxsutawney, Foster Williams of Gallitzin, Mrs. Morrison, at whose home he died, Mrs. Lillian Worrell and Mrs. Velma McTavish both of Altoona, and Miss Agnes Williams of Philadelphia. Also surviving are twenty grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Mr. Williams was a member of the LaJose church and was a deacon for forty years. The funeral will be held on Sunday, the cortege leaving the daughter's home at 12:15 o'clock noon for the LaJose Baptist church where services will be held at 2 o'clock. Interment will be made in the adjoining cemetery. Altoona Mirror, August 14, 1936
