DAVID PORTER WILLIAMS     
 
  David Porter Williams, 76, died at 5:50 a.m. today at his home at 
Mountain Orchard, Snyder Twp. He was a lifelong resident of Snyder Twp.
  He was born Nov. 29, 1882, the son of Nancy Ellen Walker.  On July 4, 
1905, he married Maud G. Miller.
  He is survived by his wife, and these children; Jesse, 515 20th St.; 
Thomas, Tyrone RD 3; Mrs. Jerre B. Waite, Orchard Crossing; Lester, RD 
3, Tyrone; and five grandchildren; a great-grandchild, and the 
following sisters and brothers: Mrs. Alice Frantz, Mountain Orchard; 
William Walker, Mountain Orchard; Mrs. Bess Spice, State College.
  Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Johnson funeral 
home, in charge of the Rev. Budd R. Smith. Burial will be in Baughman 
cemetery. Friends will be received at the Johnson funeral home after 7 
p.m. Sunday, and until time of service.
  Arrangements are in charge of the Cox funeral home, Warriors Mark.
