To our Bellwood correspondent we are indebted for the following: Howard M. Williams, a well known young man of Antis township, died very suddenly at the home of his uncle, Michael Nearhoof, on Saturday evening about 6 o'clock of neuralgia of the heart. Mr. Williams was a carpenter by trade and was building a front porch for his uncle. During the day he was apparently well until at the supper table he complained of feeling sick. He left the table and walked out in the air. The men followed him to the barn and found him very sick. In a few moments he died. A doctor was summoned, but his coming was in vain, for the patient was too quickly beyond the reach of remedies. For eight years Mr. Williams had taught school in Antis and Logan townships and during that time had won many friends. He was a very fine young man and his sudden death will be a grief to a large circle of acquaintances. He was 38 years of age and made his home with his aged mother, Mrs. Mary Williams, at Riggles Gap, Antis township. One sister, Ella, and two brothers, Wilfred and Stewart, all at home, survive him. The funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10 o'clock a.m., as Asbury church, where his remains will be laid to rest. Morning Tribune, Monday, July 3, 1899
