Williams, Esq., of this place, died at his residence, on Wednesday night, after a brief illness. Mr. Williams was member of this Bar, and was well known to citizins of the county. He served several terms as Register and Recorder of the county with signal ability, and afterwards was admitted to the bar, at which he was a practising member at the time of his death. Mr. Williams was also an officer of the Borough at the time of his death, and in all respects, both as a public servant and a counsellor, discharged his duties with skill and fidelity. He died in the fifty-second year of his age, leaving a widow and four daughters to mourn the loss of a kind and indulgent husband and parent. Peace to his ashes. (Resolutions adopted).
