WILLIAMS Died last evening at 2 o'clock at his home in Lewistown. He was formerly of Altoona until two years ago. Death was due to old age. He had been confined to his home since last May. He was born in Williamsburg, June 6, 1842, and at the close of the Civil war he came to Altoona and was later employed in the boiler shop for the Pennsy. He was a veteran of the Civil war. He was the son of John and Luviea (?) Williams, deceased, and was the last one of his family. He is survived by his wife and one adopted son, Howard L. Williams, of McKeesport. He was a devoted member of the First Methodist church in this city. Funeral services will be announced later.
