Wills, a well known farmer residing about three miles north of Tyrone, dropped dead on Friday evening at 8.10 o'clock while on his way to visit a neighbor. Death was due to acute indigestion. He was a member of the Bethlehem United Brethren church of near Tyrone and of the Allegheny Gateway lodge, I.O.O.F., of Tyrone. He is survived by his wife and four children as follows: Mrs. Homer C. Thomas of Tyrone, Mildred, Rena and George at home; also by one brother, James Wills of Warriorsmark. Private funeral services were held on Sunday afternoon at 1.30 o'clock at his home. Interment in the Methodist cemetery at Warriorsmark. Altoona Times, Altoona, Pa., Monday Morning, October 14, 1918 DEATH OF HAYES WILLS Hayes Wills, a well known farmer of Warrior's Mark Valley died suddenly Friday night from heart trouble. He was a brother of Mrs. N. N. Miller and father of Mrs. Homer Thomas of Tyrone. For several years past he had been farming for George C. Wilson on the "Ross" farm and was about to take over the "Strong" farm for his brother-in-law, N. N. Miller, of this place. He was born and raised in Warrior's Mark Valley and leaves his wife and several sons and daughters.
