Mrs. Elizabeth Esther Wilmore, died suddenly at her home, 924 South Logan avenue, yesterday morning, between the hours of 6 and 7 o'clock. She retired about 8 o'clock Sunday evening in her usual health. About 6 o'clock yesterday morning, when her sister, Miss Rebecca Dougherty, arose, she spoke to her and received a reply she seemed as well as usual. After preparing breakfast about 7 o'clock, Rebecca went to her sister's room and found her sister dead. The deceased had been subject to smothering spells and that was presumably the cause of death. Mrs. Wilmore was the widow of John J. Wilmore, deceased, and a daughter of John and Esther Dougherty, both now deceased. She was born near Laurelville in Sinking Valley, September 28, 1841, and at death was aged 58 years 1 month and 29 days. The family have been residents of Tyrone since 1868. Deceased was a member of St. Matthew's Catholic church. She is survived by three daughters and two sons, viz: Mrs. Robert Chapel, of New Castle, New Brunswick; Mrs. Robert Bell, of Altoona; Mrs. E. J. Wood, of Brooklyn, N.Y.; Joseph T. and Francis, at home. Four sisters also survive: Mrs. Jane Sharkey, of South Haven, Michigan; Mrs. Emma Scanlon, of Youngstown, Ohio; Miss Rebecca Dougherty at the Wilmore home, and Mrs. Katie Myers, of Coalport, Pa. The funeral services will be held in St. Matthew's Catholic church to- morrow morning at 9 o'clock, to be conducted by Rev. Thomas W. Rosensteel. Interment in Oak Grove cemetery.
