Wilson, son-in-law of Mr. John M. Young, of Margaret avenue and Sixteenth street, died at 5 p.m. yesterday at Washington, Pa., of appendicitis. Mr. Wilson had moved to Washington on July 20, from Tyrone, where he had conducted a grocery store. He purchased a store at Washington and had opened up in the general merchandising business. His boyhood days were spent in Morrison's Cove, where his father lives. At the age of 21 he went to the west and graduated from one of the western colleges. Remaining there for four years he returned to Tyrone where he had been in business until he moved to Washington. The interment will be made at Tyrone. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. The remains of Clarence LeClair Wilson, whose death at Tylertown, Washington county, was announced in yesterday morning's Tribune, were brought to Tyrone last evening and removed to the home of William Logan, 306 East Tenth street. Funeral arrangements have not yet been made. Morning Tribune, Altoona, Pa., Saturday, July 29, 1899 TYRONE TOPICS. Funeral obsequies of the late Clarence L. Wilson will take place in the First Presbyterian church, Logan avenue and Thirteenth street, this afternoon at 4 o'clock. Services will be conducted by Rev. Albert J. Weisley.
