Passed Away Tuesday Evening After Long Sickness After suffering for over a year from a complication of diseases, Frank Wilson, one of Tyrone's very best young men, passed away at the hospital at Hollidaysburg on Tuesday evening, at eight o'clock. Mr. Wilson had consulted specialists in Philadelphia and other cities and for a time his condition was much better but this was only temporary, as he soon grew worse again and sank rapidly until the end came at the above time. Frank Wilson had a host of friends in Tyrone who will regret to hear of his death, as he was held in high esteem by all who knew him. Deceased was a son of Alexander and Julia Wilson, and was born at Danville, Pa., January 1, 1880. For some years he resided at the place of his birth, but for the last twenty years, his home had been in Tyrone, where he was employed as a clerk in the Pennsylvania railroad freight office on Fourteenth street, which position he filled faithful, efficient manner. A number of years ago Mr. Wilson became a member of the First Presbyterian church and since that time had devoted much time and talent to church work. His life was thoroughly devoted to the Master's cause. After joining the church he became affiliated with J. S. Coulter's class, known as "Mr. Coulter's Boys." At the time of his death he was one of the officers of this organization. He was also a member of the young people's Christian Endeavor society and of the Brotherhood of Andrew and Philip. He was an active member of Good Will council No. 42, Junior Order United American Mechanics, Allegheny Gateway lodge No. 187, Independent Order of Odd Fellows; Tyrone Encampment, N. 279, I.O.O.F. and the Pennsylvania Railroad Relief association. On October 19, 1901, he was united in marriage to Miss Ruby Hildebrand. He is survived by his wife, one son and one daughter, John and Ola, at home. His parents also survive, with two brothers and one sister, Alexander, George and Miss Marian, all of Tyrone. The funeral will be held on Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Services will be held at the home of Mrs. Wilson's father, John Hildebrand, on West Eighteenth street and will be conducted by Rev. Herbert W. Bieber, pastor of the Presbyterian church. Interment in Charlottesville cemetery. Tyrone Herald, Tyrone, Pa., January 7, 1915
