MRS. NANCY J. WILSON.

  At 9 o'clock yesterday morning Mrs. Nancy J. Wilson died at the home 
of her daughter, Mrs. John McKee, 1007 Eighth avenue, of a complication 
of diseases, with which she had been ailing for some weeks.  Deceased 
was born in Logan township and was 76 years of age.  She was married in 
1844 to John Wilson, at Birmingham.  They resided at Spruce Creek until 
1865, when they came to Altoona.  Mr. Wilson preceded her to the grave 
in December, 1882.  Mrs. Wilson was a member of the Baptist church, 
having connected herself with that denomination in her childhood.  She 
is survived by these children: Porter M. and Scott J. Wilson, of 
Philadelphia; Mrs. F. S. Goodman and Mrs. Laura McKee, of Altoona; also 
one brother and two sisters, Alex Figart, Mrs. Ellen Stiver and Mrs. 
Elizabeth Shultz.  The funeral will take place Friday afternoon.  
Interment to be made in Fairview cemetery.
