HOLLIDAYSBURG HAPPENINGS.

  Mr. Solomon Wilson, one of our oldest citizens, died yesterday 
afternoon, aged 76 years.  His disease was pneumonia, having contracted 
a cold while engaged in making a new fence in the burnt districts.  He 
came to this town before the canal was made, and was President of the 
Phoenix Boat Building Company, and after the sale of the canal followed 
boat making.
