Scott Wilt of Greenwood, died at 8.40 o'clock this morning at the family home, of a complication of diseases. She was a native of Blair Furnace and was born on Aug. 14, 1861, a daughter of Thomas and Mary Rose Thompson, and was married at Blair Furnace on Sept. 14, 1879, to Mr. Wilt, who is a retired Pennsylvania railroad employe. The couple celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1929, the death today ending a marriage tie of fifty-four years. Mrs. Wilt spent her entire lifetime in this district and she was well known among a host of friends. Surviving are the husband and nine children, Mrs. W. H. Fields and Mrs. W. B. Mosser, both of Altoona; Mrs. *.C. Geddes and Mrs. O. G. Nick**a, both of Greenwood; Miss Inez Wilt at home, Mrs. H. B. Irvin of Dayton, O., Miss Pauline Wilt of Washington, D.C., L.A. Wilt of Greenwood and Chester S. Wilt of Sebring, O. Surviving also are thirteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Anna Forsht of Juniata. Another sister, Mrs. Thomas Hannah, died at Greenwood three weeks ago. She was a charter member of the Trinity Lutheran church of Juniata. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon, the cortege leaving the house at 2 o'clock, with funeral services at 2.30 o'clock at the Trinity Lutheran church in charge of Rev. Paul L. Foulk, pastor.
