LINNIE GRAY WILT Proprietor of the Wilt hotel in Williamsburg, died at her home in the hotel on High street this morning at 8.50 o'clock, death following an illness that had its inception on Nov. 1 last year, and which kept her confined to her room ever since. She was a daughter of George W. and Elizabeth (Noel) Gray and was born in Cambria county on June 6, 1868. She was united in marriage with Joseph F. Wilt in July, 1888, and they came to Williamsburg on Jan. 8, 1907, taking over the hotel which took their name and which has been operated since. The husband died on Sept. 2, 1918, while their only son was a soldier in the American army in France and Mrs. Wilt continued the operation of the hotel. Surviving are one son, Lloyd E. (Ted) Wilt, and two grandchildren, who reside at the hotel; one sister, Mrs. Nora Mothersbaugh of Wilkinsburg, and two brothers, T. M. Gray and Gilbert R. Gray, both of Pittsburgh. Mrs. Wilt was a member of the Zion's Lutheran church in Williamsburg. Friends are being received at the Friedline funeral home in Williamsburg. (Cambria county papers please copy.)
