MRS. MARIA ELIZABETH WILT

Of Homers Gap, died at 9 a.m. today. She was born at East Sharpsburg 
Oct. 17, 1872, daughter of William and Sarah (Snowberger) Shaffer. Her 
husband, Frederick H. Wilt, died March 11, 1944. Surviving are three 
sons, Dennis L., Paul E., and Clyde A. of Homers Gap; 11 grandchildren, 
15 great-grandchildren, one brother, Lloyd Shaffer of Roaring Spring, 
and two sisters, Mrs. Amanda Himes of State College and Mrs. Margaret 
Dilling of Altoona. She was a member of the Salem Reformed Church, East 
Sharpsburg. Friends will be received at the Mauk & Yates Funeral Home 
after 6 p.m. tomorrow.
