Winer died at his home, 312 Chestnut avenue, at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon of a complication of diseases. Deceased was the son of Peter and Mary Winer, both deceased, and was born in Carroll township, Cambria county, and was aged 57 years. He was a member of St. Mark's Roman Catholic church and is survived by his wife and these children, George P., Wilfred O., James Regis, Mrs. Olive Schmitmeyer and Nora Winer, at home. He is also survived by two brothers and one sister, Joseph and Jacob Winer, of Carroll township and Mrs. Anna Reddinger of Ebensburg. The funeral will take place Wednesday morning with mass at St. Mark's church at 9 o'clock. Interment in St. Patrick's cemetery, Newry. Altoona Tribune, Altoona, Pa., Tuesday Morning, February 27, 1917
