JOSEPH WINKLER

Of 1504 Crawford avenue, died at the Altoona hospital at 9.50 o'clock 
yesterday morning after an extended illness.  He was 67.  He was born in 
Germany Feb. 25, 1882, the son of Louis and Mary (Gruber) Winkler.  He was a 
retired boilermaker for the Pennsylvania railroad and a member of St. Mary's 
church; the Bavarian society and branch 17, Knights of St. George.  
Surviving are his wife, Theresa (Schreiner) Winkler; a step-son, Michael 
Heiss; two brothers, Matthew and Leonard of Altoona, and several sisters.  
He reposes at the family home, 1504 Crawford avenue.

WINKLER - Funeral services for Joseph Winkler, 1504 Crawford avenue will be 
held at 9 o'clock Friday morning in St. Mary's church.  Interment in St. 
Mary's cemetery.  Mr. Winkler reposes in the family home.
