She was born on March 21, 1879, and was educated in the Altoona schools. Mr. Winn was employed as a car builder in the Pennsylvania railroad shops. Surviving are the wife, who was Miss Sarah Gunsalus; three daughters, Mrs. Walter Behe of Washington, D.C., Mrs. Margaret Myers of Altoona and Mrs. Clair Brady of Pittsburg; one son, Thomas H. Winn, at home, and one sister, Mrs. Henrietta Hodges of Pittsburgh. Mr. Winn was a member of St. Luke's Protestant Episcopal church, of Logan lodge, No. 79, Knights of Pythias, the Fraternal Order of Elks and the railroad relief. The body may be viewed at the home after 7 o'clock this evening. WINN - Funeral services for John Winn of 418 Willow Ave., will be conducted by Rev. Francis D. Daley of St. Luke's Episcopal church at the home tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment in Fairview cemetery. The body may be viewed at the home. Altoona Mirror, February 18, 1938
