Henry Wirrbaugh, aged 74 years, 8 months and 16 days, died at his residence in Logan township, a short distance below the city on Saturday morning last at 11 o'clock. The deceased came to Blair county twenty-eight years ago. Levi, Lewis and Jacob and two daughters survive him. The sons and the daughter Tillie reside in Logan township, and the other daughter is the wife of Mr. John Hess of this city. One son, Henry, was a soldier in the late war, and was killed at the battle of Port Royal, South Carolina. Mr. Wirrbaugh, by thrift secured a good share of this world's wealth, and was a quiet and useful citizen. His funeral occurred on Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock from his late residence. The religious services were conducted by Mr. John Brallier, a member of the Dunkard church. Interment in Oak Ridge cemetery. Altoona Tribune, Altoona, Pa., Thursday, June 11, 1885, page 3
