WISE.

  Miss Effie V. Wise of 2013 Fifth avenue died at 7.20 o'clock Saturday 
night of pneumonia, superinduced by influenza.  She was born Feb. 12, 
1884, and had resided in this city with a brother.  She was a member of 
the United Brethren church, Mapleton.  Besides her parents, Mr. and 
Mrs. George Wise, of Williamsburg, she is survived by the following 
brothers and sisters: Charles, Altoona; Gilbert, Williamsburg; Mrs. 
Blanche McConahy, Mrs. Hazle McConahy, Altoona; Miss Bertha, South 
Dakota; Mrs. Roy Wilson, Altoona.  The remains will be taken to 
Mapleton for interment.
