WISSINGER, 77 of Juniata Gap died unexpectedly at 8 a.m. Friday, Aug 7, 1981 in Altoona Hospital, apparently after a heart attack. Mr. Wissinger was employed as a construction engineer for the Linde Air Corp., a subsidiary of Union Carbide. He was born May 5, 1904, in Altoona, the son of Clarence A. and Laura (Lord) Wissinger. Surviving are five brothers and sisters, Ernest E., Mrs. Martha Benden and George of Altoona, Mrs. Janet Worley of Louisville, Ky., and Francis of Chicago, Ill. Mr. Wissinger was a graduate of Altoona High School and the Tri- State College, Angola, Ind., with a degree in civil engineering. He was a member of the Blair County Mental Health Association, Pennsylvania Association for the Blind, PARC and Central Pennsylvania Humane Society and was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels. He was an Army Air Force veteran, serving as a meteorologist in Panama. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the E. Merrill Smith Funeral Home, Broad Avenue. WISSINGER - Services for Kenneth C. Wissinger of Juniata Gap will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the E. Merrill Smith Funeral Home Inc., Broad Avenue, by the Rev. Raymond L. Morris, interment in Alto-Reste Park. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the E. Merrill Smith Funeral Home Inc.
