Witter died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Lottie Dyarmint, 406 Beaver street, Gaysport, at 6 o'clock last evening of a complication of diseases incident to old age. Deceased was aged 73 years. His wife preceded him to the grave twenty-one years ago and he is survived by the following children: Mrs. Ida Detwiler, of Downingtown; Elmer, of Lindel; Howard, of Woodbury; Mrs. Lottie Dyarmint, and Mrs. Bessie Mitchell, of Gaysport. He is also survived by two brothers and one sister. The funeral will take place Thursday morning, services to be conducted at the Reformed church at Hickory Bottom, Woodbury, Bedford county, at 11 o'clock. Interment in the Byer cemetery at Curryville.
