Wood, of 2209 Seventh avenue, died on Monday evening at 7 p.m., after a protracted and painful illness, which was borne with patience and Christian resignation. Deceased was the daughter of Peter and Ruth Crider, of this city. She leaves a husband and three small children to mourn their loss; also a father and mother, four brothers and a sister. Mrs. Wood was a consistent member of the Simpson Methodist Episcopal church. Funeral services to-day at 2 p.m. conducted by Rev. R. E. Wilson from the Simpson M. E. church. Interment at Oak Ridge cemetery. Call not back the dear departed, Anchored safe where storms are o'er; On the border land we left them Soon to meet and part no more. When we leave this world of changes, When we leave this world of care, We shall find our missing loved one In our Father's mansion, fair. Morning Tribune, Altoona, Pa., Wednesday, December 3, 1890
