William Potter Wood, an aged and respected resident of Collinsville, died at his home in that place Saturday morning, aged nearly 68 years, death being caused by hemorrhages. Mr. Wood leaves a wife and eleven children to mourn hiss loss. These are Smith and James G. Wood, both of this city; Mrs. Sarah A. Williams, of Roaring Spring; Thomas Wood, of Pittsburg, and Harry, Annie E., Mary S., Augustus, Frank, William P. and Keziah M. Wood, all residing at home. He also leaves three brothers, John and Augustus Wood, residing in Lemark, Carroll county, Illinois, and Thomas Wood, of Hollidaysburg, and one sister, Mrs. Samuel Donnelly, 409 Walton avenue this city. He was a devoted member of the Second Lutheran church, this city, and was a kind father and model husband. The funeral took place this afternoon from his late residence.
