GERTRUDE WOODCOCK Of Martinsburg, widow of J. M. Woodcock, died at the Mercy hospital at 6.15 p.m. yesterday of complications and shock from a fall two weeks ago. Born March 18, 1878, at Martinsburg, she was the daughter of Henry and Magdaline (Zook) Stoner. She was married to Mr. Woodcock in January, 1918. Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Alice Kauffman of Martinsburg; one brother, Fred Z. Stoner of Altoona; a number of nieces and nephews, and the following step-children: William Woodcock of Alabama, Mrs. William Henry of Altoona, Mrs. Ray Stonerook of Akron, O., and J. Frank Noble of Blairsville. Mrs. Woodcock was a member of the Martinsburg Church of God. Friends will be received at the home on East Allegheny street, Martinsburg, after noon tomorrow. WOODCOCK - Funeral services for Gertrude (Stoner) Woodcock of Martinsburg will be held from the late home on East Allegheny street, Martinsburg, Monday afternoon, June 7, at 2 o'clock in charge of Rev. E. F. Berger, pastor of the Martinsburg Church of God. Interment in the Spring Hope cemetery. Altoona Mirror, June 4, 1943
