Carrie was a very pleasing looking young woman, under medium size and about twenty-four or twenty-six years of age. Her parents reside at Port Matilda and they have been notified of her decease. There are certain suspicious circumstances connected with her death and last evening Coroner Humes summoned a jury and proceeded to hold an inquest. The inmates of the house were examined but no important testimony was elicited. Subpoenas were issued and the jury adjourned until this evening.
