WOODS.

  Richard Woods, a former resident of this city, died Saturday morning 
at the St. Francis hospital, Pittsburgh.  He was born at Chambersburg, 
Oct. 6, 1842, the son of Richard and Elizabeth Woods, both deceased.  
When still very young he removed to this city and in 1881 left for 
Huntingdon, West Virginia.  He is survived by his wife and five sons, 
Charles, Edward and Richard, of this city; John and Howard of 
Huntingdon, W.Va., and one daughter who resides in Pittsburgh.  His 
remains will be taken to Chambersburg where funeral services will be 
held tomorrow afternoon.
