William Woods, a young man aged 21 years, was run over and instantly killed on the railroad near Fourth street at noon today. He lived with his father in Logantown. Remains were taken to Lafferty's undertaking shop and prepared for burial. Altoona Mirror, Altoona, Pa., Monday Evening, April 3, 1893 Funeral Announcement. William D. Woods, the young man who was killed on the railroad at Fourth street yesterday, was a son of John H. Woods, of 120 Second avenue, Juniata, and was born in Altoona, May 6, 1872. He is survived by his father, J. H. Woods, his mother having died five years ago, and by one brother, Harry B., and one sister, Ella.
