He was born Dec. 6, 1896, at Philipsburg, the son of Jeremiah B. and Fannie Weaver Woomer. He was married March 23, 1916, to Ella May Howard. Surviving are the widow, the following sons and daughters; Mrs. Marybelle Reese, Port Matilda; Mrs. Fannie Colpetzer, Alexandria; Miss Dorothy Woomer, at home; Mrs. Ivy Parks, Grazierville; Leroy H., Bald Eagle; Mrs. Gladys Liner, Port Matilda; Miss Lillian Woomer, at home; Mrs. Martha Cameniti, Altoona; John, Bald Eagle, and Clarence and Peggy, at home. Also surviving are the step-father, E. B. Gulich. Bald Eagle; 19 grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was the last of his immediate family. He was a member of the Bald Eagle Methodist Church, and had been employed by the West Virginia Pulp and Paper Co., retiring in 1958 after 33 years service. Funeral service will be held Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at the Bald Eagle Methodist Church, in charge of the Rev. Stephen J. Zeigler. Burial will be in Bald Eagle Cemetery. Friends will be received at the Woomer home after 7 p.m. today, and after 11 a.m. on Saturday at the church. Arrangements are In charge of the Johnson Funeral Home.
