Mrs. Elizabeth Woomer, wife of Jonathan Woomer, died at her home two miles northwest of Bald Eagle, at 6.27 o'clock yesterday morning from stomach trouble, from which she had suffered for about a week. She was in the 65th year of her age and had been in failing health for some time. Mrs. Woomer, whose maiden name was Elizabeth Turnbaugh, was born in Logan township. She was a lifelong member of the Lutheran church, and her Christian faith was abundantly proved by a consistent Christian life. She was a kind mother, devoted to the welfare of her home and the happiness of her family. All who knew her treasured her friendship, and she will be greatly missed from the community where she so long resided. Surviving are her husband and the following children; W. H. Woomer and Mrs. Harry C. Albright, of Tyrone; James, of Bellefonte; Howard, of Patton; Edward, of Bradford; Mrs. David Bryan, of Jersey Shore; and Myrtle, at home. Six sisters and three brothers also survive, among them being Mrs. A. A. Smith and Nicholas Turnbaugh, of Tyrone. The funeral will be held on Wednesday morning at her late home, where services will be conducted by Rev. F. L. Bergstresser. Interment in the Woomer cemetery.
