Juniata St., Hollidaysburg, died at 7 p.m. yesterday, Sept. 9, 1975, at Altoona Hospital, after an extended illness. Mr. Woomer retired in 1963 from the Federal Mediation & Conciliation Service, Pittsburgh, with 22 years' service. He was born Feb. 22, 1893, a son of Samuel Richard and Martha McClellan (Thomas) Woomer, and married Nellie May Shaw on June 21, 1916, in the First Church of the Brethren, Altoona, by the Rev. W.S. Long. Mrs. Woomer died Nov. 12, 1969. Surviving is a sister, Ida of Altoona. Mr. Woomer was a member of the First Church of the Brethren and Men's Bible Class of the church. Friends will be received in the C. Ray Myers Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow. WOOMER - Services for George W. Woomer of 1201 N. Juniata St., Hollidaysburg, will be held in the C. Ray Myers Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Friday by the Rev. Guy S. Fern and the Rev. Paul P. Patrick. Interment in Rose Hill Cemetery.
