Henry Foster "Butch" Woomer, Jr., 59, of RD 2, Box 490, Beaver Dam Rd., Hollidaysburg, PA died at 9:18 a.m., Monday, Aug. 22, 2005 at the Altoona Regional Health System-Altoona Campus E.R. He never married. He is survived by his mother, Margaret Louise Woomer of RD 3, Tyrone. His longtime companion Theresa Gill and her children: Charles Gill, Carol Bonsell and Mary Frye of Tyrone. Theresa Smith of Hollidaysburg, Lucille Boyer of Duncansville, Karen Watson of Howard and their grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was of the Methodist faith. A graduate of Tyrone Area High School in 1964. He served in the U.S. Army in 1965 and 1966. He was a member of the Nat'l Rifle Assn. and enjoyed hunting mushrooms, gardening and woodworking. He was employed at the SKF Plant in Altoona from May of 1976 to his retirement in February of 2003. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Aug. 25, 2005 at 11 a.m. at the Derman Funeral Home, Inc., Tyrone with Rev. Tim Miller officiating. Interment will be at Baughman Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and one hour before the service on Thursday.
