  On Saturday morning at 2 o'clock Herbert Woomer died at the home of 
his parents, David and Annie Woomer, in Altoona, of typhoid fever, aged 
26 years.  The deceased was a puddler by occupation and had been 
working in McKeesport, from which place he came to the home of his 
parents about one week ago.  He was born at Logan Iron Works, Mifflin 
county, but had lived in this section a number of years.  He was 
married about one year ago and is survived by his wife, his parents, 
three brothers - Richard, James and George; and two sisters - Daisy and 
Ida, all of Altoona.  Interment was made at Bald Eagle Tuesday.
