Mrs. Mary Woomer 

Mrs. Mary E. Woomer,  7 West Sixteenth street, died Tuesday morning at 6:30 
o'clock in the Pope Nursing Home, Bellwood, following an extended illness.   
She was born May 11, 1873, at Bald Eagle, the daughter of Asbury and Alice 
Stonebraker Miller.  She married Blair Woomer, who died Aug. 14, 1955.  She 
had been a life-long resident of Tyrone.  Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. G. 
H. Myers, Altoona; three sons, Ira, Elmer and Remis, all of Tyrone; two 
brothers, George and Adie Miller, Tyrone; a sister, Mrs. Gertrude Benz, 
Altoona; 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and four great great 
grandchildren. She was a member of the First Evangelical United Brethren 
church, and of the Ladies Auxiliary of the B. of R. T.    Funeral service will 
be held Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Johnson funeral home, 1200 
Lincoln avenue, in charge of the Rev. Budd R. Smith. Burial will be in the 
Bald Eagle cemetery. Friends will be receivedt the funeral home after 7 this 
evening.
