YEAGER 67, of 51 Clover Drive, Hollidaysburg, died at 9:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, 1980, in Altoona Hospital, where he was admitted earlier in the day. Mr. Yeager retired as a foreman of the passenger car shop of the Pennsylvania Railroad in 1971. He was currently employed by Mid-State Bank and Trust Company. He was born July 23, 1913, in Altoona, the son of Franz and Sofie (Waltor) Yeager, and May 15, 1937, married Ann Riling. Surviving are his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Sally Ann McFarland of San Ramon, Calif.; four grandchildren and a brother and two sisters, George and Ellen of Castleberry, Fla., and Mrs. Anna Jones of Altoona. Mr. Yeager was a member of the United Church of Christ. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the American Legion, 40 et 8 [sic] Society and Heidelberg Country Club. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 8:30 to 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Juniata. YEAGER - Services for Karl F. Yeager of 51 Clover Drive, Hollidaysburg, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., Juniata, by the Rev. Wayne Sova. Interment in Rose Hill Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 8:30 a.m. until time of services Wednesday in the funeral home. Altoona Mirror, December 15, 1980
